Absolutey nothing! Age is simply a number that dictates when one can buy a pack of cigarettes and a bottle of beer, not have a healthy and loving relationship. My fiance is 13 years older than me, and its like we were made for eachother! I tell him all the time that God made him so special, it took him 13 more years to create a soulmate for him. Embrace what you have, and don't let anyone tell you differently.

I agree with some of the ABers here--depends on the ages of both of you. If you're both okay with it, both love each other and the younger person is of legal age, I feel you should enjoy each other. However, if you feel that something is wrong with you, then perhaps you may want to discuss this with someone other than family or friends.

It is not uncommon, but I would do a lot of soul searching before making a commitment. Look at Paul McCartney and Heather Mills. They seemed to have so much going for them: she was a lady of strong ideals that matched Paul's. But she had never really even heard his music or the music of his generation. She was the same age as his children. It was a lot to overcome...and sadly, it didn't work. So many of these relationships don't.
Sorry to sound like the harbinger of doom.
