If you don’t like registering with websites just to download something really quick and then end up with a daily email or so from that annoying website, I think this add-on is just for you.
Probably you already know with the website http://www.bugmenot.com/, now you can get all that with this Firefox add-on. To download it go to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6349 and download it by pressing the ‘Add to Firefox’ button:

On the next screen scroll down and press the ‘Accept and Install’ button
Afterwards install and restart Firefox.
For the sake of this blog post I am going to show you how to use it using this add-on on the New York Times website. So, go to the website you want to login (in my case http://www.nytimes.com/ ) then go to the login page (where the username and password fields are). Now right click on the username or password field, now in the context menu you should find another option ‘Login with BugMeNot’

Click it and it will automatically fill in the login details and submit the form (so you don’t even need to click the login button).
This add-on will not give you a login for all the websites (it will give you a login for the most known and major websites). In case it will not find any existent accounts for that website (like in the case of QuestionBin) it will show you this message:

This means that you have to sign up for yourself, and you can go to http://www.bugmenot.com/submit.php and submit your details, of course you should not submit your details for a real genuine account, because the entire world will have access to your account. But if you create a quick one to download something or just a temporary one, you can help the website and other users.
