Paranormal Activity - Movie Review

ALERT: You Might Find Some SPOILERS! (It’s a review after all!)
I watched this movie last night. It is about a couple living a ‘normal’ life, and the girl says that she has been experiencing some paranormal activity since she was 8, so her boyfriend buys a camera to document the whole thing, they bring some guy to explain what is this and he comes to the conclusion that this thing does not like that he is there and probably is a daemon. Anyways, that is basically the plot of the film.
My sister told me that it is the scariest movie ever (she did not watch it, but she told me that ‘people’ are saying so), so me being very curious I watched it very attentively (at night and in the dark, to make sure that if there is something scary, hopefully I will feel the scare), thinking that at a certain point it will scare the shit out of me. Well, 15 minutes passed... 30 minutes passed... and one hour passed... I was getting pissed at this film because so far I didn’t see anything, just some squeaky sounds, some whispering, his girlfriend acting weird during the night and the freaking door moving a little bit... so far nothing interesting.
Anyways finally the guy got some balls and borrowed a Ouija board and tried to communicate with this entity but his girlfriend was pissed at him because she told him not to so they went out but left the camera recording... and all of a sudden the cursor started moving and then it got on fire. Nothing scary, just some random stuff (creepy because you don’t want to see that in real life, but still, I was expecting some scary stuff), so still, no scare so far.
To make a long story short, the only ‘scary’ stuff that happened was the girlfriend getting dragged by this entity and her screaming, but for those people like me that love horror and thriller movies, that is nothing. The good stuff happened at the end of the movie because apparently she ended up killing her boyfriend down stairs and apparently the entity killed some other girl, but none of this was documented because the video camera was left up starts in the bedroom... so I could only hear sounds... no visual of what happened. Anyways, then the police came and it was over.
In my opinion this was nothing scary when compared to some other movies I watched. To all those people that said it is the scariest movie ever, I tell you a big ‘WTF?!’.
The only thing that kept me a little bit in suspense was the fact that I thought that at a certain point it will scare the hell out of me, but that was because of my sister telling me it is the scariest movie ever, aside from that the movie was a total waste. I only watched this movie because I wanted it to give me a scare (I haven’t seen a scary movie since) and I am very dissatisfied, so if you want to get a scare, this movie it not for you!

lmfao - "the guy got some balls and borrowed a Ouija board". I watched this movie also. The damn thing was a bunch of squeaking noises and some foot-prints in some salt (who really puts salt around their damn bed?). It was creepy, and would have been creepy if that shit was happening to me but that movies wasn't scary. Whoever said it was the scariest movie of all time was full of it.
