From a women's point of view, having short hair is easier to maintain. I don't want to be stuck with hair down to my butt when I'm old and feeble.

I bet all you guys that hate it so much wouldn't say that if a stunning woman with short hair approached you. It's a woman's choice to keep it short just the same as it's a man's choice to grow his long. Hair,clothes, whatever, it's up to the individual. I think short hair's just as nice as long when it's clean and a good cut. Jules is right, long hair when you're getting into your senior years ages you and short hair's much easy to manage.

And before you ask, mine is long but I've had it cropped short too. Because I could.
